Arriving by car, motorway:
from the south (A 52):
- Exit “Essen
Süd”
- turn right into the Eleonora Straße
- turn right into the Rellinghauser Straße
- turn right into the Schürmannstraße
- turn right Kaninenberghöhe 50 (white building before
90° turns)
from the east (A 40):
- at the triangle
“Essen-Ost” on A 52
- further until exit of "Essen-Bergerhausen"
- turn right into the Ruhrallee
- turn left into the Töpferstraße
- turn left into the Rellinghauser Straße
- turn right into the Schürmannstraße
- turn right Kaninenberghöhe 50
from the west (A 40):
- Exit
“Essen-Huttrop”
- turn right into the Steeler Straße
- turn right into the Huttropstraße (later Töpfer
Straße)
- turn left into the Rellinghauser Straße
- turn right into the Schürmannstraße
- turn right Kaninenberghöhe 50
from the north (over B 224)
- B224 turns into the Alfred
Straße
- turn left into the Martin Straße, becomes Franziska
Straße,
later Müller Breslau, then
Eleonorastraße,
- turn right into the Rellinghauser Straße
- turn right into the Schürmannstraße
- turn right Kaninenberghöhe 50
Arriving by train:
By railroad to Essen Hbf, then further by taxi (approximately 8 minutes) or with the streetcar (Linie 105) until stop “Zeche Ludwig”. There, the Kaninenberghöhe, approximately 400 m of footpath, begins.
Arrival by airplane:
Airport Düsseldorf.
Per taxi approximately 20 minutes, or:
- S-Bahn (S 1) to Essen Hbf
- or with the S 7 until Düsseldorf-Derendorf and afterwards
with S 6
to Essen Hbf.
